What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

There are several contact forms on this site where you can enter your name, email address, a message subject and the message content. Please do not include confidential or private information regarding your situation in any form found on this website.

When you submit a form we will receive an email with your name and email address in it and we will use these only to contact you about your enquiry and to provide services to you. Your name and email address are NOT stored in our web site database.

For Media Enquiries, the contact form also includes organisation and optional phone number. These will be included in the email we receive when you submit the form, but will NOT be stored in our web sit database.

When you sign up for out mailing list, your first name and email address will be stored at Mailchimp/Mailmunch and subject to Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy.


This site uses cookies to track your visits and to manage what we show you, for example our mailing list signup. We also use Google Analytics and Adwords to monitor site traffic.

We use Stripe payments for online purchases. We do not see or hold your credit card information. This information is securely held by Stripe whose Privacy Policy is here.

Appointment Booking

We use Acuity to schedule appointments. Acuity supports 50,000+ businesses with appointment booking. Acuity data is held securely in the Cloud according to their privacy policy. Appointment details are securely synched with Google Calendar.

Who we share your data with

We share your data with Mailchimp and Google Analytics as described above. Your appointment data is stored on Acuity and Google calendar. We also send online purchase requests to Stripe for credit card payment. Data may be stored on servers locally or internationally with these services. We will not share your data with other third parties except where required to provide the services to you that you request.

Overseas recipients we are likely to share your details with

We may need to share some of your information with organisations outside Australia. For example, in the course of our accounting and marketing activities We will generally need to share your details with our accounts, payment, marketing  and tracking software providers who are located in the USA. We may store your information in cloud or other types of networked or electronic storage. As electronic or networked storage can be accessed from various countries via an internet connection, it is not always practicable to know in which country your information may be held. If your information is stored in this way, disclosures may occur in countries other than those listed. Overseas organisations may be required to disclose information We share with them under a foreign law. In those instances, We will not be responsible for that disclosure.

How long we retain your data

We do not retain your data in the web site database. We retain your data on the mailing list until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. We retain your data sent via email unless you request its deletion.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

Your emails are stored at GMail; your mailing list subscriptions are stored at Mailchimp; your appointment data is stored in Acuity and Google Calendar. Please see their respective privacy, security and data management policies.

We use Stripe payments for online credit card transactions. Stripe processes online credit card transactions for over a million businesses, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. When you provide your payment information, we transmit it via an encrypted connection to Stripe. Stripe uses and processes your payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the Stripe gateway are secured payments. Payments are fully automated with an immediate response. Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by us or by any other party.
